Aviv and Gavin have worked together on various industry initiatives for well over ten years, particularly concerning compliance. They have often spoken on conference panels concerning regulatory and compliance matters.

Gavin has been involved in the Energy industry for over 40 years in both IT and Trading Operations roles. He was responsible for a large Energy Trading Back Office including reporting of Trades to regulators under EMIR and Remit.
More recently Gavin has been designing new processes to allow for Electronic Energy Trading Settlement.

Aviv Handler is a specialist in the regulation of the commodities and energy market providing advice and services to the energy and commodity markets in the understanding, preparation and implementation of Energy and Commodity Market Regulations. He focuses on all streams of European regulation including EMIR, REMIT, MiFiD II, MAR, the relevant parts of Brexit and SFTR as well as applicable rules across the globe.
